Shipping Policy

Everything you need to know about how we process, pack, and deliver your order — from our warehouse to your door.

1. Processing Times

Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, our team begins processing it right away. Here's what happens before your parcel leaves us:

Order ConfirmedYou receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout. Payment is verified at this stage.

Picking & PackingYour items are picked, quality-checked, and securely packed within 1–2 business days of your order.

DispatchedYour parcel is handed to the carrier. You'll receive a dispatch confirmation email with your tracking number.

Out for DeliveryThe carrier takes over and delivers to your door within the estimated timeframe for your chosen shipping method.
Orders placed on weekends or US federal holidays will begin processing on the next working business day.

2. Domestic Shipping (USA)

We offer several shipping options for customers within the United States. All times shown are business days from dispatch, not from the order date.

Overnight delivery is only available on orders placed before 1:00 PM EST Monday–Friday. Orders placed after this cut-off will be dispatched the following business day.

Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US territories may take 2–5 additional business days and may not be eligible for Overnight options. Additional charges may apply.

3. International Shipping

We ship worldwide. International delivery times and costs vary depending on your destination. All estimates are from dispatch date and are subject to customs clearance times.

Exact shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order. We always aim to offer the most competitive rate available.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to track your parcel.

Dispatch EmailSent automatically when your parcel leaves our warehouse, with your tracking number included.
Live TrackingUse the carrier's tracking portal to follow your parcel in real time from dispatch to delivery.
Delivery AlertsMost carriers send SMS or email notifications on the day of delivery with an estimated delivery window.
Account DashboardRegistered customers can view all order statuses and tracking links from their Deskcodes account.
Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after dispatch. If your tracking shows no movement after 48 hours, please contact us.

5. Customs & Import Duties

For orders shipped outside the United States, your parcel may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country.

  • Deskcodes is not responsible for any customs or import charges applied to your order.
  • These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are entirely outside our control.
  • Customs fees must be paid by the recipient before the parcel can be released for delivery.
  • Refusing to pay customs fees and having a parcel returned does not automatically entitle you to a refund of shipping costs.
  • We are required by law to accurately declare the value and contents of all shipments on customs documentation.
We recommend checking your country's import thresholds and duty rates before ordering. The EU, UK, Canada, and Australia all have specific low-value thresholds above which duties apply.

6. Failed Deliveries & Missed Collections

If no one is available to receive your parcel, the carrier will typically:

  • Leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour (if you have authorised this).
  • Leave a notice with instructions on how to arrange re-delivery or collect from a local facility.
  • Make up to two further delivery attempts before returning the parcel to us.

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, an incorrect address, or refusal to accept, we will contact you. A re-delivery fee may apply. We are not liable for parcels that cannot be delivered due to an address error provided at checkout.

Please double-check your delivery address before completing checkout. Address corrections after an order has been dispatched may not be possible.

7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

We take great care in packing your order, but occasionally things can go wrong in transit. Here's how we handle it:

For all lost or damaged parcel claims, please email contact@deskcodes.com with your order number and photos where applicable. We'll get back to you within 48 hours.

8. Address Changes

If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@deskcodes.com.

  • Before dispatch: We will do our best to update your address free of charge. Changes are not guaranteed once the order is in our packing queue.
  • After dispatch: Address changes may not be possible once a parcel is with the carrier. Some carriers offer a redirect service, which may incur an additional fee.
  • Incorrect address provided: We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery if the address entered at checkout was incorrect.

9. Free Shipping

We offer free standard US shipping on all orders over $75. Here's how it works:

Qualifying OrdersOrders totalling $75 or more after any discounts automatically qualify for free standard shipping at checkout.
US OnlyFree shipping applies to US domestic addresses only. International orders are not eligible for free shipping.
Discount CodesUsing a discount code may reduce your basket below the free shipping threshold. The threshold applies to the amount paid.
Upgrade AvailableEven with free shipping, you can upgrade to Priority or Overnight delivery at checkout for the standard rate difference.
Free shipping promotions or threshold changes may be offered periodically. Any active promotions will be clearly displayed on our website at the time of checkout.
